HE the Minister of Tourism & Wildlife Engineer Joseph Malwal Dong and workers of the Ministry of Tourism & Wildlife welcome tourists from all parts of the world to land in Sudan to visit the unique and virgin tourism destinations.
Sudan is a largest country in Africa. Its unique geographical location, diverse climate and diverse terrain, all these features created enormous tourism attractions. Recognized by the Ministry of Tourism & Wildlife and their importance in economic, social and media thought to transform these resources into an integrated tourist product focused on infrastructure of roads, airports, cable communications network and law and regulations that help the private sector to smooth the flow of tourists from tourists generating countries.
Cultural tourism resources in the Sudan are mainly located on the banks of the Nile in River Nile in northern states. It comprised of archeological and historical relies dated back to prehistoric area such as Albagrawyia Pyramids, Nuri, Albarkel, and Elkurru. Temples at Nagaa, Musswrat Elsufra and the Royal city. Moreover, there are relies related to Kerma culture, and Pharoks temple at sulb, sadienga and sai island.
And many Islamic center and dome beside ancient cathedral located at old Dongla and Elgazali. The diversity of tribe and tribal music dances, singing and handicraft created another type of tourism attractions.
Sudan is famous for ecotourism of wildlife reserve at Dinder national park, the southern part of Sudan and at the desert on the northern part of the Sudan. The red sea with its unique marine life and the clear waters for scubea driving. The river Nile with it branches can be considered as one of the most impressive destination for water sking. The Blue Nile confluences with write Nile at Khartoum make it the only city in the world that lies on six banks.
